Eating is one of the most environmentally important acts we do. What we eat and how it is grown, harvested, packaged, transported and prepared has great impacts on the health of the planet (and, of course, our own bodies). Helping to create sustainable food systems—that improve rather than degrade the health of the land and water as well as that of local economies–is therefore a critical step in caring for God’s creation. A Rocha is working in several communities doing just that.
